What we learned
Today was a great day we learned a lot. we are on our first unit called data management.Like we always do before we start a unit we started a ran chart so what that means is we put our wondering and what we think we know? also today ms.porcari read us this book called the giving tree after she read us the book we told her the main idea of the book.the main idea was give not receive because the tree was giving this little boy anything he wanted until the tree dies.next ms.porcari told us to put a finger paint on the tree art.then we had to take our agenda out to write that we have homework.

What a great story to remind us to give and expect nothing in return but the happiness of others. It is so rewarding to express kindness, appreciation and love on a daily basis! Do you think the boy was thankful for the giving tree? Why? How? What was the most important thing the tree gave the boy? What are you thankful & how do you show your appreciation for what you are thankful for?
